The Indiana Squirrel Stampede is a fun romp through Indiana history, specifically, its squirrel history. This show takes a humorous look at the devastation caused in central Indiana by squirrel emigrating, and on the hunt for food. As silly as it sounds, there have been several times in Indiana history where squirrels have moved across the state in great numbers. Through stories and songs, the cast tells of these tales- the misunderstandings, the measures people took to manage the infestation, and more.

The show is family-friendly, and funny on a couple of levels. Where there are squirrels, there are nut jokes, which are always funny. There are some squirrel parodies of well-known songs, and a lot of stuffed squirrels flying around. My eleven year old laughed a lot, and enjoyed the story.
