I still have two jazz hands up after seeing Paint Chips, a dance theater piece inspired by the word jazz of Ken Nordine. Voci Dance traveled all the way from Orlando to create a retro world of movement, wit and vivid color during the 13th Annual IndyFringe Festival.
Whoop whoop! Almost time for Voci Dance: Paint Chips at the Indy Eleven Theatre! Smooth jazz is playing for us now #iloveindyfringe pic.twitter.com/10aYkGTrXy

Audiences will enjoy the collaborative choreography that is built on the dancers; you can tell that Voci Dance work together to find movements that work best for their bodies that also illustrate the story told by Nordine.
The story is also told through vintage-inspired costumes. The colorful pieces are funky and mod, easily reminding you of the late 50s, early 60s. It’s hard to pick a favorite piece … but if I had to, it just might be the rosy cat-eye glasses. Meow!
Voci Dance: Paint Chips brought my favorite colors to life; don’t miss your opportunity to listen, look, and live them for yourself during the Festival! You can learn more about the show and purchase tickets online here.
Paint Chips was really creative & fun to watch – only one show left tomorrow don't miss it! #iloveindyfringe
