C- with Eric Jaffe at Indy Fringe 2016Did you go to college to get a job, for the sake of learning or as New Yorker Eric Jaffe tells to party? When Eric’s friends say they started partying on Thursday, he asked,” Why did you stop?” Eric Jaffe started college at his parents’ insistence but all he wanted was to be a rock star. He was sorely disappointed that college does not teach any be a rock start classes. So what happens when college becomes a time of downing brews rather than opening books.

Not for young children – Talk of drugs, fraternity life and the occasional F word
Storytelling, comedy and drama

Good theater makes us think, to reassess our own life’s and think about the choices we have made. C- certainly does that. C- is a comedy that goes deeper. Over four years, Eric interviewed 65 of his former fraternity brothers or fellow partiers as many did not make It through college in four years if at all. So what do you do if your sole goal in college was sex, drugs and rock and roll?

Eric is a very good story teller and has performed C- at the Port Fringe and the Capital Fringe. He wrote, researched and produced C-. The stories of his own life and those of his buddies is sometimes funny and sometimes poignant. Is life over after college or what happens at the end of a string of dead end jobs and disappointments? What makes life worth living?

What is life like after college for those who spent more time high than in class? The jury is out. Would they do it all over again or make different choices? I find myself considering what would I do over.

C- is playing at Theater on the Square Second Stage. Great to see if you are in college now and wondering what you are going to do with your life, or grab a college buddy and reminisce about the good old days.

All performances are at Theatre on the Square – Stage Two
