Did last night’s kick-off event get you excited about the next 11 days on Mass Ave, too? I’m not sure what I’m looking forward to more … the lineup of shows or finally seeing the new venues for myself.
For those of you unable to attend last night’s performer showcase, here are a few things you missed:
- Indy Eleven starting off the night with some fancy footwork.
- Mayor Greg Ballard on stage in a (fantastic) sash thanking the IndyFringe community for its positive cultural impact on the city.
- Details on the two new theaters.
- A wide range of performance previews from local, national and international artists.
- The Bazbeaux pizza, Insomnia Cookies and Long’s Bakery donuts feast.

Getting a glimpse of this year’s 64 shows got the audience amped for another incredible year of supporting writers, performers, set designers, technicians, dancers, musicians and street performers. I’m looking forward to Fringe binging along with you during one of the 384 individual performances that start tonight at 6 p.m.
Tickets are available for purchase by phone, at venue box offices and online here. You can also buy tickets at the IndyFringe Theater and Mass Ave office. What shows top your must-see list this year? Let’s discuss in the comments below.
