Experience the retelling of the famous C.S. Lewis story of Narnia in words and song and dance put on by the Agape Theater Company. The play does a good job of telling the essence of the story. And having children tell a children’s story is quite appropriate. And the kids do a great job.
When my children were little, I loved reading The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe with my kids. It was one of our favorites. I loved the imagination, and the creativity of a pretend world where the children could be in charge. So I was excited to see this play. The songs intermingled with dialogue and some dance do a great job of hitting the highpoints, the essence of the story.
The Agape Theater is an award-winning and professional quality. It is a faith-based youth theater company in Indianapolis. You can also watch their other productions at Theater at the Fort in Lawrence.
Whether this is your first introduction to the world of Narnia or one of your many times to return, Enjoy.
