So here’s the thing. I play in a weekend warriors Rock & Roll band and I totally want to back up this dynamic duo of English lasses, but that would kinda ruin it. You see, they’re two of the most accomplished air instrumentalists I’ve encountered, and a full band would only take away from that, besides it would make it difficult to hear the brilliant and hilarious lyrics. Our band plays loud.
There’s a message here
The show offers a series of PSA’s. The first four songs revolve around female anatomy. It’s mainly about vaginas, but the fifth changes up and discusses fat pussies. It’s part of their FFF (Fat Feline Foundation) call to action. It seems the world is full of fat pussies that need our help. The show included songs from their first EP—Top Shelf our First EP and their second EP—Top Shelf our Second EP. They wailed on “STD’S are Real” lamented that “Leggings aren’t Pants” and warned the 18-24 female demographic about the dangers of yeast infections and Summers Eve. It was enlightening.
This show is fun
I take it if you’ve read this far you know this show isn’t PG 13. It’s not for the faint hearted. It is for the open-minded theatre goer who appreciates two actors staying in character, working the crowd, and presenting great material. Add this show to your list. And be sure to purchase a commemorative Last American Tour pair of Top Shelf panties after the show. I forgot to ask—do you think the panties are new or used? Does anyone know where I can buy the first Top Shelf EP?
