I have a mission
I attended the Friday 6:00 performance of Working Titles. It was a great show by an outstanding storyteller. More on that later. The audience was enthusiastic. It was a good audience. It just wasn’t packed. This show should be sold out, standing room only, bumper-to-bumper with people. That’s my mission. I want to see this house filled. I may not succeed, but I’m sure gonna try to make an impact. I apologize ahead to anyone who follows me of Facebook or Twitter. You’re gonna hear about this show. A lot.
Why you should pack his house
Jeremy Schaefer is a master storyteller. He’s an actor/comedian/artist, sharing real stories about real life—his life. Specifically, Working Titles is about jobs, the sundry day jobs he’s worked at while pursuing his dream. A dream he’s had since he was eight years—to be storyteller. Jeremy tells his story in his own voice, and it’s a voice people can relate to. We’ve all taken jobs that didn’t help us towards our dreams, haven’t we?
Why you should go
That’s easy to answer. It’s simple really, because you will be entertained. You will laugh. You will pause and be thoughtful. You may even have a tear in your eye. You will relate, and you may be shocked. Your emotions will be slammed to and fro, and that’s hard to do. It takes a master storyteller to share that kind of story.
A little help please
Jeremy’s IndyFringe14 show, Not a Destination, was my happy surprise find of 2014. I went to the show not knowing what to expect and was enthralled. This year I knew what to expect. My expectations were surpassed. So do me a solid. Do yourself a favor. Go see this show. Let’s pack the house.
